One binary — install with Homebrew or curl
Lovie

Command line

Your company, from the terminal.

lovie drives the same platform the web app and the AI agents do — banking, cap table, accounting, formation and documents — as a single binary with no config file to write and no API key to manage.

brew install lovieco/tap/lovie

Install

Homebrew

macOS & linux

brew install lovieco/tap/lovie

Script

no package manager

curl -fsSL https://cli.lovie.co/install.sh | sh

Downloads the release build for your platform. Every archive is signed, and the installer verifies the published checksums before it moves anything into place.

First run

  1. lovie login — opens your browser, signs you in, and stores the token for you. There are no API keys to create or paste.
  2. lovie use — pick the company this shell should act on, so later commands need no --company flag.
  3. lovie companies get-my-companies — confirm you are through.

Reading data

grouped commands

lovie transactions list --limit 25
lovie transactions get-summary
lovie cap-tables get-cap-table-overview
lovie invoices list --format table

Output you can pipe

Output adapts to where it is going: a table when you are reading it, JSON when it is being piped. Force either with --format, and reshape the payload before it is rendered rather than after.

FlagDoes
--format auto · json · yaml · table · pretty · jsonl · raw
--transform a gjson path applied to the result, e.g. accounts.#.displayName
--columns choose and order table columns by dotted path, e.g. company.name, role
--company act on one company for a single invocation, overriding lovie use
--profile switch between saved endpoint/company sets

Scripting or driving this from an agent?

lovie call <tool> is the stable machine interface — it takes the raw tool name and JSON, and does not shift when the friendly command tree is reorganised. lovie guide prints the whole contract in one page.

Every command

340 operations across 18 domains, discovered live from the running services — the same surface your agent sees. Every one is callable exactly as printed below. Most also have a shorter lovie <group> <verb> form, but the group names are not these domain names, so run lovie --help for those rather than guessing from this list.
